Worlée NatureProducts: Sustainability Report
Where #NewPaths become visible
This long-established company sets off to become the world’s most sustainable raw material supplier: Worlée NaturProdukte. In our sustainability report, we explain how this vision is becoming a reality. You will also get to know the people and their working methods in Ghana, Kosovo, Madagascar and, of course, at the company’s headquarters in Hamburg.
A strong vision as a foundation
No less than becoming the most sustainable and reliable global raw material partner is the goal set by Worlée NaturProdukte. Their motto is ‘We create new paths by walking them’. The company’s developing sustainability strategy serves as a compass. At the same time, Worlée NaturProdukte has started to communicate. For three reasons: Firstly, to get the employees on board. Everyone should realise that their daily work is related to sustainability. Secondly, to inform stakeholders, such as our customers. Thirdly, of course, it is to prepare for the CSRD reporting obligation by producing an initial
Sustainability has many faces
The first sustainability report: a wasteland of figures and specialised knowledge? Worlée NaturProdukte wanted to avoid that. To this end, Engel & Zimmermann developed an editorial and graphic concept with which employees could directly identify. Portraits and quotes from interviews with company experts bring the sustainability efforts to life. A clear structure reflects the reliability that the company demonstrates to its customers and suppliers worldwide. The report features everyone from the founder in Ghana, who provides employment opportunities for women in rural areas by processing oranges, to the former professional athlete who now embodies team spirit as HR manager at Worlée.
The solid basis for tomorrow
Anyone following #NewPaths will know that progress is made one step at a time. The first milestone was the sustainability report, but many more sustainability management measures now need to be implemented. Going forward, Worlée can continue to build on its commitment to making sustainability a visible part of the company. Even in an era of mandatory CSRD reporting, individual reports and brochures that tell stories will remain valuable, as they enable companies to demonstrate their sustainability efforts to stakeholders and document their progress towards achieving their goals.
