Molkerei Gropper wins German Sustainability Award
Molkerei Gropper has won the 17th German Sustainability Award in the Dairy and Fresh Products category. This makes it one of the industry’s pioneers in terms of sustainable transformation.
Continuous sustainability communication
The company has already implemented numerous concrete sustainability measures in environmental, economic and social areas, and is continually developing these. The company is focusing on organic and animal welfare milk, energy efficiency, and innovations in packaging towards a circular economy. Certifications and external audits provide valuable transparency for stakeholders. Gropper is a leader in ‘For More Animal Welfare’-certified milk and has worked with a certified environmental management system for almost 30 years, being one of the first companies to introduce PET bottles made from recycled materials. As a private label manufacturer, Gropper also has the opportunity to promote sustainability more widely.
