Certified according to the ZNU standard for sustainable management

Sustainability at E&Z

We start with ourselves: Because if you want to advise on sustainability, you need to have a fundamental understanding of the topic. That’s why we were the first PR agency ever to be certified according to the ZNU Standard for Sustainable Management in 2019 and have had our sustainability management comprehensively audited every year since then.
We have also made our activities climate-neutral since 2019. The ZNU Standard for Sustainable Management requires an in-depth examination of sustainable corporate management and assesses E&Z’s performance in the environmental, economic and social fields of action. We have used the ZNU standard to bundle, structure and expand our long-standing sustainability activities – a complex process that we are continuously working on.

Status

Since our initial certification in 2019, we have initially focused on significantly reducing CO2 emissions from business travel. We have succeeded in doing so: From 2017 to 2019, we recorded a reduction of 28%, and from 2019 to 2021 a reduction of 27%.
We have extended our target for 2022: Since then, the focus has been on all CO2 emissions from Scope 1 and 2 per full-time equivalent. We are currently at 1.59 tons of CO2 per FTE and are working on further reductions.
