E&Z integrated Heuser agency
Gauting near Munich, July 13, 2021. The Munich-based communications consultancy Engel & Zimmermann is integrating Heuser Agentur für Strategie- und Kommunikationsberatung in Cologne into its agency group with effect from July 2021. Engel & Zimmermann is thus underlining its existing commitment in western Germany. The two locations in Munich and Cologne will combine and expand their consulting approaches in the future.
Dr. Andreas Bachmeier will become Managing Director of Heuser, while Karl-Heinz Heuser will continue to serve the agency’s clients as Senior Advisor.
Karl-Heinz Heuser: “I am delighted to have found a trustworthy and experienced partner in Engel & Zimmermann, who will carry on the baton and further develop the consultancy I have built up in Cologne. This gives me the opportunity to step back a little and focus my activities on serving existing clients and expanding new business.”
In recent years, there have been signs of increasing politicization in all areas of the economy. Companies and associations in particular are faced with the challenge of adapting their communications to the changed circumstances and having concrete answers to social and political issues. Especially with the super election year 2021 and the upcoming new legislative period, the development is accelerating even more. With a personal consulting approach, embedded in the medium-sized agency structure, Engel & Zimmermann provides real added value for clients in this field of tension, especially by combining strategic consulting and communication implementation.
Andreas Bachmeier: “By expanding in NRW, Engel & Zimmermann is not only moving geographically closer to many existing clients, but we are also strengthening our commitment in one of the structurally most important regions of Germany. We will integrate the communications consultancy Heuser into our corporate structure, which means that our customers in Cologne and Munich will benefit from an extended range of services. Especially the aspect of political communication and dialog-oriented citizen dialogue will play a major role in the NRW office. Our understanding of strategic communication and Karl-Heinz Heuser’s decades of experience create unbeatable synergies in my view – a win-win situation.”
